If You Need Services
Sarah's Circle is able to offer housing assistance, case management, referral services, and help meeting basic needs to single women who are 18 years of age or older. If you or someone you know fits these criteria and would like to know if there are beds available in our Interim Housing (shelter) Program, you may call 773.751.7475. If you or someone you know fits these criteria and would like to utilize daytime supportive services such as access to meals, laundry, showers, and case management, please visit our Daytime Support Center at 4838 N. Sheridan Rd. (directions) or call 773.728.1991. Learn more about Sarah's Circle's services on our Services Overview page. The Daytime Support Center is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 4:30 pm.
If you or someone you know is NOT a single, unaccompanied woman over 18 but still needs access to services, you may find the most up to date and comprehensive list of human service providers on the Department of Human Services (DHS) Website, or call the DHS help line at 1.800.843.6154.
If you are in immediate danger, please call 911.
If you need support in fleeing domestic violence, please call the Domestic Violence Help Line that is toll-free, confidential, available 24 hours, and multilingual at 1.877.863.6338. 1.877.863.6339 (TTY)
For emergency shelter, or for help finding shelter after 4:00 pm on weekdays and on weekends, call 311.
For financial assistance with rent, a security deposit, or utilities, call 311 and ask for "short-term help."
Additional Access to Food
Sarah's Circle offers a meal to women at our Daytime Dupport Center each weekday at 11:00 am.
