Before we could start building, we had to demolish the existing structure.
See the process in the video above!
There is a severe shortage in affordable housing in Chicago. In order to better serve our clients and end homelessness for women, Sarah's Circle is developing a new building that will include 38 units of permanent supportive housing for women with histories of chronic homelessness. Learn more about this project here.
Sarah's Circle is working closely with City agencies to ensure the best practices possible, and to monitor the safety and health of our clients and staff. All of our programs are currently open and operational and our intent is to remain operational for the women we serve as we weather this crisis together.
For the safety of all clients, staff, and supporters,
Sarah's Circle will not be accepting donation drop-offs until further notice.
If you have items you'd like to donate, please either mail them or hold onto them until we annouce we are able to accept them as usual.
We thank you ahead of time for your understanding and cooperation.
Support women who are homeless during this difficult time:
Sarah’s Circle is a refuge for women who are homeless or in need of a safe space. By providing life necessities, housing, case management, clinical and social services, we encourage women to empower themselves by rebuilding both emotionally and physically; realizing their unique potential.
