There is a severe shortage in affordable housing in Chicago. In order to better serve our clients and end homelessness for women, Sarah's Circle is developing a new building that will include 38 units of permanent supportive housing for women with histories of chronic homelessness. Learn more about this project here.
Sarah's Circle is working closely with City agencies to ensure the best practices possible, and to monitor the safety and health of our clients and staff. Our intent is to keep our critical services operational for the women we serve as we weather this crisis together.
For the safety of all clients, staff, and supporters, Sarah's Circle will not be accepting donation drop-offs while Chicago's shelter in place order is in effect.
We thank you ahead of time for your understanding and cooperation.
If you would like to support women who are homeless during this difficult time, you may do so in any of the following ways:
Due to the spread of COVID-19, our upcoming event Hot Summer Night will be postponed until 2021. The health of our community is our top priority and we appreciate your understanding of this tough decision. Please stay tuned for updates in the coming months!
Sarah’s Circle is a refuge for women who are homeless or in need of a safe space. By providing life necessities, housing, case management, clinical and social services, we encourage women to empower themselves by rebuilding both emotionally and physically; realizing their unique potential.
