Circle of Women
Sarah’s Circle is a small non-profit in Uptown helping women who are homeless rebuild their lives. Sarah's Circle offers a wide variety of services from basic life necessities to mental health counseling. We are constantly striving to improve and expand as an organization in our efforts to serve a growing number of women facing homelessness.
Every day we see women who are homeless - and many of you may wonder how they got there, how they can be helped, and, since they are women, we fear for their safety. With all the complexities of homelessness, what can one person do to help a women who has no home, who, for so many reasons, is living on the streets or in shelters?
A group of senior level women in the Chicago area have found a way to help some of these most vulnerable women by spearheading the establishment of the Circle of Women. The Circle of Women is a straightforward and easy way for any busy woman to offer support. Very simply, as Circle members we ask you to contribute $30/month on an ongoing basis and to come to an event or two during the year. Circle of Women members will have the opportunity to network with other like-minded women from a variety of professions and backgrounds, and Sarah's Circle will send occasional email newsletters to keep you informed about upcoming events and the important services your donations are helping to provide. Your unique skills and experiences, coupled with your compassion in serving the most vulnerable women will help us tremendously.
