Professional Development: The Relevance of Being on a Professional Board

A Recruitment Event for Sarah's Circle Associates Board

Sarah's Circle is hosting a career and personal growth networking event that will focus on nonprofit board participation. Have you ever wanted to get on a board, but didn't know how? Have you ever considered getting more involved with a particular cause, but didn't know how to connect to an organization to learn more? On July 14th, attendees will have the opportunity to meet with other young professionals interested in making an impact on the community. Keynoted by Kathy Ragnar, Executive Director of Sarah's Circle, followed by a panel of successful professionals who are actively involved in a variety of professional boards, the evening is poised to provide you answers and enlightenment.

This event will benefit you in one of many ways: meet other likeminded professionals, learn about new nonprofits, and have the chance to learn about the newly formed Sarah's Circle Associates Board. During the evening, you will hear about the growing problem of homelessness in the city of Chicago, what Sarah's Circle is doing to address the increasing need, and how you can make an impact by becoming a member of Sarah's Circle's Associates Board.
