Today, Sarah’s Circle offers several services – comprehensive physical services, permanent supportive housing, clinical services, a network of resources, and a community – to over 900 women a year who are affected by homelessness. We encourage women to empower themselves by rebuilding both emotionally and physically; realizing their unique potential as women.
Sarah’s Circle endeavors to provide indispensable services with excellence. We are constantly striving to improve and expand as an organization in our efforts to serve a growing number of women facing homelessness.
We invite you to be a part of our ultimate goals as both an organization and a society—the elimination of homelessness and the empowerment of women. Learn more about volunteer opportunities and internships. Participate in one of our many social activities by attending an event or consider subscribing to our Fruits & Vegetables Project.
The 23rd annual 1 Mile Winter Walk will be held on Sunday, Feburary 22nd at St. Augustine College.
At 1 pm, we will gather at St. Augustine College, and then brave the winter cold together. As we walk in solidarity with some of Chicago’s most vulnerable women, we will learn about the unique struggles they have faced while homeless.

This past October we extended our hours at the Daytime Support Center on Thursdays to 7:00 pm to serve an evening meal and welcome more women. The meal provides food to regular Sarah's Circle participants, and has also attracted and supported women who are new to Sarah's Circle. All women ages 18 and up are welcome. If you or a woman you know is hungry this Thursday evening, please join us.
Sarah’s Circle is a refuge for women who are homeless or in need of a safe space. By providing life necessities, housing, case management, clinical and social services, we encourage women to empower themselves by rebuilding both emotionally and physically; realizing their unique potential.
