Today, Sarah’s Circle offers several services – comprehensive physical services, permanent supportive housing, clinical services, a network of resources, and a community – to over 900 women a year who are affected by homelessness. We encourage women to empower themselves by rebuilding both emotionally and physically; realizing their unique potential as women.
Sarah’s Circle endeavors to provide indispensable services with excellence. We are constantly striving to improve and expand as an organization in our efforts to serve a growing number of women facing homelessness.
We invite you to be a part of our ultimate goals as both an organization and a society—the elimination of homelessness and the empowerment of women. Learn more about volunteer opportunities and internships. Participate in one of our many social activities by attending an event or consider subscribing to our Fruits & Vegetables Project.
The 22nd annual 1 Mile Winter Walk will be held on Sunday, Feburary 9th at Sarah's Circle.
At 1 pm, we will gather at the new location of Sarah’s Circle, 4838 N. Sheridan, and then brave the winter cold together. As we walk in solidarity with some of Chicago’s most vulnerable women, we will learn about the unique struggles they have faced while homeless.

Thanks to all who participated in our volunteer opporunity on December 13th and 14th to construct beds and paint our newly renovated interim housing space. There is still a great need for permanent supplies for the new space. Visit our Events Page for more details.
Sarah’s Circle is a refuge for women who are homeless or in need of a safe space. By providing housing assistance, case management, referral services, and life necessities, we encourage women to empower themselves by rebuilding both emotionally and physically; realizing their unique potential.
